Where the islands go after dark. Two casinos, four late-night clubs and lounges, the sports bars, the live music circuit, both floating bars, the beach bonfires and the Thursday Fish Fry, all on one page with real hours, real costs and a weekly fixture list, plus the Downtown and Blue Hills rooms residents actually use. Providenciales carries almost all of it, Grand Turk comes alive on cruise days, and the outer islands trade nightlife for stars.
Every venue in this Atlas carries a status mark. Venue means the detail was checked against the business's own site or page. Directory means it comes from a maintained island directory, with the review date shown in the source line, and Listing means the only published source is the venue's own Google listing. Confirm means sources disagree or a detail is missing, and the item is on the confirm list at the foot of the page. Every hour on this page is a normal-season hour. Silly season, from late August into October, closes bars and restaurants for weeks at a stretch, trims nights and thins the live music, and cruise-day venues on Grand Turk open to the ship timetable. Check with the venue on the day.
Drinking age is 18. Gambling age is 21 and ID is checked at the door whether you play or not. Most bars charge no cover; the two known exceptions are Aziza and Shisha Lounge. A 12% government tourism tax applies to food and drink, and a service charge of 10% or more is often added before the bill reaches you.
Built from the fixtures and normal-season hours on this page, the sun's position over Grace Bay and the phase of the moon. Where two sources give different hours the earlier close is used. This block cannot see silly season closures or a band's night off, so it shows what a venue would normally be doing tonight, not a promise that it is: call ahead. Grand Turk is not included.
Every marker is plotted from the venue's mapped coordinates onto the island silhouette. Solid markers are on land; hollow markers are the two floating bars, which really are in the sea. Tap a number on the map or in the key to see what is there; tap it again to filter the whole page to that area.
Swipe the map sideways to see the west of the island.
West Caicos, North, Middle, East and South Caicos and Salt Cay have guesthouse bars and a few beach restaurants; none is listed here as a night out in its own right.
The Turks and Caicos has no mega casino and does not pretend to. It has two boutique gaming rooms a few hundred metres apart on Grace Bay Road, both pouring complimentary drinks for players, one with a courtesy shuttle and the other inside a resort, closing at 2am and 3am respectively. Pick by mood: Casablanca is the island's original, a converted nightclub with a Moroccan front; The Casino at The Ritz-Carlton is the newer, larger room with live music at the weekend.

The Turks and Caicos is credited as the birthplace of internet casinos: Internet Casinos Inc. launched from here in 1995. No online casino is based here today.
Casablanca ran as a nightclub before it became a casino on 18 June 2007. Residents were barred from gambling until that year, then admitted only above a $75,000 income; the income test was removed in 2018.
Carib Gaming is the largest slot route operator in the country and keeps machines in dozens of bars and shops. They count as gambling: 21 and over, ID required.
Almost everything with a DJ sits on a single walkable stretch of Grace Bay Road: Ports of Call at one end, Regent Village in the middle and the Casablanca and Aziza corner beyond. That makes a bar crawl the natural way to do it. Cover charges are the exception, not the rule; the crowd builds from 10pm and Thursday to Saturday are the nights.

The Grace Bay rooms are where visitors go. Residents drink along Leeward Highway around Downtown, where a cluster of small bars and one all-night discotec sit within a few hundred metres of each other, and on Millennium Highway in Blue Hills. Prices are lower than the strip, the music leans to dancehall, soca and reggaeton, cash is the safer bet, and taxis home should be arranged before you go in. Details below come from each venue's Google listing rather than a directory write-up, so treat hours as the venue's claim and call if the night depends on it.

Most live music here is hosted by restaurants, not clubs: a band or a solo artist on a fixed night, usually from 6pm, usually with dinner. The genres run from ripsaw and rake 'n' scrape to reggae and classic rock; calypso and steel pan are rarer than visitors expect. The Bar Band, a crew of residents playing rock for the fun of it, is the closest thing to a house band and turns up at two venues a week.

Recurring nights only, as published at the end of September 2026, and indicative of a normal week in season. Resort BBQs need a reservation. In silly season many of these pause, so confirm with the venue before you go.

Distances are measured door to door from each venue's mapped position, rounded to 50 metres; walking times assume an easy 5 km/h. Order matters: the strip runs west to east, so start at the far end and finish nearest the casino. In silly season check that each stop is open before you set off.
Any night, best Thursday to Saturday. 1.55 km in all, about 19 minutes of walking.
The one night with a fixed start. 2 km, about 24 minutes of walking, or a taxi for the first leg.
Taxis between the first three stops, then the last two are next door to each other. Chill Spot to Riqueza 3.4 km; Riqueza to the Downwind Drive corner 1.65 km.
Sunday has its own rhythm: Noah's Ark or Captain Oak's by day, the DJ deck at Somewhere from mid afternoon, then either the Wymara bonfire buffet 650 m along the beach or the A+ Band at Castaways at 6pm.
Daylight only, but no nightlife study of these islands is complete without them. Both close at sunset, which is the point: you drink standing in water the colour of a swimming pool, then get back to shore before dark.
OriginalLong Bay3 to 5 ft deep
About 400 ft off the eastern end of Long Bay Beach, in water most adults can stand in. Small bar, a breezy dance floor, music by Captain Oak himself, a grill doing fish, lobster in season, burgers and kebabs, and a curbside service if you arrive by your own boat. Ladder straight into the sea.
Open daily 12pm until sunset. Getting there by jet ski, charter boat, or the bar's own water taxi from the pickup point near Heaving Down Rock (Old Grace Drive and Technology Drive), $20 round trip. Hotel pickup at some times for an extra fee.
Budget for $80 to $125 a head for transport, lunch and a few drinks over an hour or so (2026); Captain Oak's is the more affordable of the two. No cover. Bring cash as card machines can drop offline.

Getting there by the bar's ferry from a dock near Blue Haven Marina, $40 round trip on the directory and $30 in recent visitor reports, near-continuous at weekends; or on a jet ski or boat tour with Mako Watersports or Caribbean Cruisin'.

Grand Turk runs to the cruise ship timetable, and most of its bar life happens in daylight. When a ship is in, the beach bars by the Cruise Center are packed until the ship sails; after dark, evenings narrow to a handful of Cockburn Town rooms along Duke Street and Front Street, most closing by 8pm or 9pm, and dinner is best reserved. North, Middle and South Caicos and Salt Cay have bars attached to guesthouses and a few beach restaurants, and that is the honest extent of it.

Bambarra rum punch, jerk chicken, beach volleyball, chairs and umbrellas for patrons, live music events, group bookings and weddings. Stingrays and the Wymara BBQ take no cash. The Fish Fry and both floating bars are better with cash. Casinos and most bars take both.
Casablanca runs a free shuttle to any Provo hotel. Both floating bars run their own water taxis until sunset. For everything else see the Taxi Atlas; there is no late bus.
Club Med Turkoise (adults only) and Beaches sell evening passes that open their bars, shows and dance clubs to non-guests for a night.
Turks Tour Co. runs a San Francisco-style trolley crawl to three island bars including The Taproom at the brewery; private crawls can choose their own stops.
There is no commercial cinema in the country. The 32-seat Starfish Cinema at Beaches is the closest thing, and it is for resort guests.

Yes, but smaller and gentler than the Dominican Republic or Cancun. It is built on live music with dinner, a handful of DJ rooms on one road, two casinos, beach bonfires and the Thursday Fish Fry. You can find something every night of the week on Providenciales in season.
Thursday for the Fish Fry and the start of the club weekend, Friday and Saturday for DJs at Cielo, Blu Bar, Shisha Lounge and Danny Buoy's, and Sunday for the daytime party at Noah's Ark and the Wymara bonfire. Wednesday is the local night: Junkanoo at Da Conch Shack and The Bar Band at Bob's.
No. Casual is the rule almost everywhere, including the casinos. Resort bars lean smart-casual in the evening.
Yes. Residents were barred until 2007, then allowed above an income threshold, and all restrictions were removed in 2018. Everyone is 21 and over with ID.
Yes, and the latest rooms are off the strip: Versace Downtown runs to 5am and The Matrix in Blue Hills to 4am. Dragon Bar and Riqueza go to 2am, Chalkies to 1am at the weekend. Bob's Bar closes at 9pm, Da Conch Shack and Castaways at 10pm.
Live music thins from late August into October and many bars and restaurants close for several weeks (Sharkbite took 24 August to 18 September in 2026), so the hours on this page are indicative of a normal season rather than a guarantee for any given night. The clubs and casinos have tended to stay open. Cruise-day venues on Grand Turk follow the ship schedule. The Silly Season Schedule page tracks closures, and the venue itself is the only certain answer.
The Nightlife Atlas is a free resource. If it has you thinking about a condo a short walk from the strip, a villa where the evenings are quieter, or selling what you already own, Drew Scrymgeour of Christie's International Real Estate Turks and Caicos is a message away.
